New from my apothecary is the magic of crystals – those beautiful colours and shapes opens a world of magic and wonder that lets the imagination fly! I am not sure about the powers and healing aids delivered by these fantastic natural objects as I will always be the scientist, but the alchemist in me is lead down a path into another world, drifting away to a place where one might become something of a deeper yet lighter version of oneself. Just belonging to the self and being with oneself and thinking weird and wonderful things that might be conjured up in the imagination and then materialising!
